Successful applicants will have a proven track record in high quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Bristol is consistently ranked as one of the top places in the UK for Teaching and Research in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The Department is an active and successful centre of excellence in teaching and research, with in-depth specialisation in photonics, microelectronics, advanced communication technologies and electrical energy management.

Much of the Department's research is interdisciplinary, working with colleagues in the Engineering Faculty and in Applied Sciences. The Department runs undergraduate programmes in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Electronics and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with a high-quality student intake (entry grades are AAA at UK A-level), as well as several advanced MSc programmes. Our focus is on providing a high quality and innovative learning environment.

Please include with your CV a covering letter with a statement on the contributions that you can make to teaching in the Department, especially in respect of innovation in delivery and content. Professor Angela Doufexi (mvse-eee@bristol.ac.uk), (Head of Department).

The selection process, including interviews is expected to take place shortly after the closing date.

We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
