The University of Bristol seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Learning and Teaching. This role will contribute actively to the enhancement of teaching, learning and assessment across the University of Bristol as a member of the Bristol Institute for Leaning and Teaching (BILT).
Appointment to this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a systematic programme of academic development at a major Russell Group institution. The appointee will develop and design programmes of enhancement, to promote the Scholarship of Teaching and share best practice in line with the University’s Education and Student Experience Strategy. They will also Undertake research, publish and present at SOTL conferences, and support colleagues to do the same, to showcase best practice at the University of Bristol.
The successful candidate will have experience of being an academic developer and teaching within the context of an accredited CPD scheme to achieve HEA fellowships. They will possess a deep understanding of the higher education learning environment in the UK, and will be passionate about teaching and learning and enhancing the student experience
