Join an organisation with an unbreakable belief that quality education, training and research should be available to everyone – regardless of background, location or life circumstances.

About the role

With more than 300 TAFE and university courses available across 20+ national locations and online, Australia’s largest regional university has a lot of audiences to market to. With a lean but effective marketing approach involving in-house and agency creative design, agency media planning and centralised specialist marketing teams, CQUniversity does a pretty great job – delivering campaigns that are disruptive in the sector and consistently achieve over and above our recruitment KPIs. Due to a backfill opportunity we’re looking for a new team member for our Campaigns and Content team, driving the strategy and execution of select national, state and tactical advertising-led campaigns and associated projects. This is a unique opportunity to bring together your campaign and project management skills with your writing ability and creativity in a fast-paced and highly rewarding role.

About you

Our perfect candidate will likely come from an agency or in-house background involving the coordination of semi-complex advertising campaigns across multiple markets and/or products or services. You’ll have experience strategising media briefs and planning advertising placements and messaging, writing succinct and compelling copy and liaising with designers to create advertisements appropriate to the audience, format and service within brand style guidelines. You’ll consider yourself a ‘big picture thinker’, unafraid to ask questions until you fully understand the task at hand and naturally find yourself taking the initiative to connect the dots and fill any gaps, ensuring you consider the customer in everything you do. Importantly, you’ll be very comfortable giving and receiving feedback, excel under pressure and strive for continuous improvement.

Make your move to CQUniversity Australia, ranked within the top 2% universities* worldwide and contribute to changing lives, in all kinds of amazing ways.
