About the position

The Student Business Centre provides administrative support and advice to students and Faculty staff on a range of matters including enrolment, timetabling, examinations, international student compliance, graduation, FEE-HELP, US Loans, Scholarships and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

Reporting to the Coordinator, Timetabling & Examinations, this position will be responsible for formulating the class and examination timetables each semester for the University. Working in a small team, the role will need to liaise closely with Faculties, interpret information and have the ability to work with multiple databases (Syllabus Plus/Enterprise, Exam Scheduler, Web Room Booking System and Student One) to ensure that the delivery of these services is efficient and effective.

About the person:

The successful applicant will have a degree and at least 2 years relevant work experience. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and timetabling, examinations and student databases is essential, as is a demonstrated knowledge of student administration policies and procedures, strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and coordinate workloads, manage time and meet deadlines.

A commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience, well developed interpersonal, written and communication skills, and the ability to identify issues and develop opportunities for resolving them is also required to be successful in this role.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $68,115.99 plus 9.5% superannuation per annum.
