  • Fixed term, full-time appointment (three years)

Join the Materials Node of the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) to work on the design, development and fabrication of materials and devices for researchers and industry. ANFF is hosted at the University of Wollongong (UOW) Innovation Campus within the Australian Institute for Innovative Materials (AIIM) and nearby UOW translational facility.

This position requires the design and realisation of 3D structures via additive fabrication tools and protocols, with metals, polymers and gels. Specifically, the role involves preparation of devices, using computer aided modelling or designer software, to realise an end-user’s design brief. Experience with additive fabrication equipment operation, post processing finishing techniques, machining and coating techniques will be an advantage.
