Job description
The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy, leading to professional registration, along with a large portfolio of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to support the simulation teaching, curriculum development and course management in the School. This is a one-year, full-time role that will require excellent organisational skills and data analysis experience. In addition, the candidate must be currently actively involved in healthcare simulation research.
The successful candidate will work alongside and manage change in a range of health staff and students, and will therefore have a strong record of working with partners and stake holders and have excellent project planning skills. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution as well as education to doctorate (or equivalent professional qualifications/experience),including a teaching qualification is essential. The candidate must clearly show where they meet the essential criteria for the role; the candidate must be currently enrolled as a full member on the HCPC or NMC register.
The candidate will be supported to develop their specific simulation interests in order to progress their career and research portfolio. Salary is dependent on experience.
