The Centre for Sport and Social Impact (CSSI) strives to change the future of sport management practices and policy and their impact on society through real world research and engagement with industry and government. The CSSI draws from the disciplines of organisational behaviour, management, marketing, economics, law, sociology and public policy to investigate issues that impact on the efficacy of sport organisations operating in the corporate, public and non-profit sectors of the economy and their impact on society. The CSSI is a Research Centre based in the La Trobe Business School.

About the position

The key focus of the position is to support and work on a range of externally funded research projects for the CSSI. This will involve project management, data collection, analysis, report writing, preparation of ethics applications and co-authoring academic research publications. The position will involve liaising with industry research partners, external funding agencies and a range of internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have a strong research base, as evidenced by your publications, conference papers and/or reports, or a strong research potential demonstrated by your professional or technical contributions. You will have demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing. Previous experience in the preparation of research proposal submissions to external funding bodies and success in securing research funding would be well regarded.
