Professor/Associate Professor - Building in the School of Design and Environment

FACULTY APPOINTMENTS IN PROJECT AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

The Department of Building in the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore, invites scholar-practitioners with professional skills and expertise in industry to apply for faculty appointments in project and facilities management (PFM), preferably with a particular focus on the management aspects of Facilities Management including, but not limited to infrastructure operations and management and event management, and Project Management including, but not limited to contract and procurement management, project finance, and quantity surveying, on the Practice Track Scheme.   

Candidates should possess a degree, generally with 6 or more years of practice experience at a senior level and demonstrate leadership in the profession.  

About the University and Department
The Department's vision is to become a global leader in project and facilities management. It offers an undergraduate honours programme in Project and Facilities Management, as well as taught graduate programmes in “Building Performance and Sustainability” and “Project Management”. The Department also offers higher degree programmes by research. The two broad areas of research focus are in Project Management and Facilities Management. Successful Candidates
The successful candidates are expected to contribute to education, faculty development, and service, and complement the research efforts of the Department where appropriate. They are also expected to contribute significantly to the outreach activities of the Department.
