Overview:

Applications are invited for a Clinical Teacher in the Centre for Teaching and Innovation. These posts would be ideally suited to experienced dental practitioners with an interest in the education of dental students, and have as a primary role the provision of clinical teaching both at the Dental School and our Dental Outreach Clinics. A major aspect of the post is to provide support for the training of BDS undergraduates and DCP Students providing primary dental care.  An appropriate honorary clinical contract will be requested from Barts Health NHS Trust and the successful applicant will be expected to take part in all aspects of clinical governance activities and participate in the QMUL staff appraisal scheme.

This post is part-time (2 days per week).  Appointment will be made on the salary scale in the range of £32,569 - £60,589 (pro-rata) + £1,470 LW per annum. Benefits include 30 days annual leave (pro rata), defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
