The University of Surrey has an ambitious vision for innovative teaching, with a research intensive, professionally orientated, and technology enhanced approach to teaching. With a new Education Strategy and Digital Strategy shaping the Univeristy’s digital advantage, you’ll play a critical role in innovating and driving the development of digital learning resources within the Faculties.

As part of the Department of Technology Enhanced Learning, you will join a skilled team who develops and evaluates innovative approaches to digital education. You will support and advise Faculty colleagues as they develop their digital capabilities and future pedagogies. You will be supporting and promoting the use digital content captured through the lecture capture service and other capture technologies. You will be responsible for staff training, providing assistance to staff creating digital learning resources and building support networks within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

You should have experience of designing and developing digital resources for online delivery in an educational context. Experience of developing support materials and workshops for an academic audience would be an advantage. 

This post could be offered as a secondment to university staff. 

The post is based at the Priestly Road campus in Guildford.
