The University of Surrey is seeking to appoint a Team Manager Major Gifts to develop relationships with a portfolio of prospects and manage a team of 5 Advancement Managers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing high-performing team at a collaborative University with teaching and research excellence in many exciting fundable areas: AI, Sustainability, Digital healthcare, among several other research strengths.

The successful candidate will act as the key relationship manager for their own prospect portfolio and motivate a growing team of Advancement Managers based in Faculties and Schools across the University. They will also build rapport and develop relationships across the University’s professional services and academics to lead proposals for philanthropic funding of key projects.

The Team Manager Major Gifts will report to the Head of Major Gifts and be based in the Advancement team. In addition to salary you will receive a generous annual leave entitlement and excellent personal development opportunities. Benefits package includes award-winning pension scheme, child care assistance and discounted membership to our world-renown Surrey Sports Park.
