Job Description

The Smart Geo-Engineering lab is currently devoted to interdisciplinary research on geotechnical engineering in close collaboration with other research teams from worldwide.

The successful applicant is expected to develop a research question individually, driving for independent thinking and self-learning. The research topics encompasses machine learning technology in geoengineering, improvement of geophysics measurement for natural hazard assessment, advanced numerical approach in landslide analyses, and non-destructive testing (electrical resistivity spectrum), etc.

The position is research-oriented, stressing on academic publications, and may be expected to involve in the assessment of student knowledge, including assisting in the supervision of student projects and the development of student research skills.

Requirement

The applicants must hold a PhD in engineering or related fields, with good oral and written communication skills in English.

It will be a plus for the candidates to show capability, evidence, and potential for conducting and publishing scientific papers.

Funding Information

Salary: NTD 58,350 per month, or NTD 787,725 per year (before tax and insurance deduction) approximately USD 25,410 per year
