Job description

We are seeking an outstanding professional individual to join the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship at Coventry University.  ICTE is a cross University entity tasked with the development of entrepreneurial activity in terms of curriculum, research and external projects. ICTE blends a wide range of services and products that encompass education, research and support to assist students, staff and businesses to be more entrepreneurial.

The individual is expected to play a leading role in the development of research in the Centre. Core requirements include that the candidate should possess a PhD in a relevant subject to the Entrepreneurship discipline, be able to evidence publication in peer-reviewed ABS journals (2, 3 and 4 star publications) with a view to submission in REF 2021, have supervised to completion at doctoral level, and have managed research projects to successful completion. In addition, the candidate is expected to develop relationships and partnerships externally to foster collaboration and generate income. Therefore the person must have a flexible approach to work, willing to travel nationally and internationally, self-motivated, be an effective communicator and able to work as an individual and a member of a team.  The role will also involve the teaching and supervision of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
