The University is now seeking to appoint an outstanding strategic and academic leader as Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculties of Science, Engineering and Architecture and Design reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor. As part of the University's senior leadership team, we are looking for an exceptional individual with the personal and professional credibility to build and enhance collaborative alliances and partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders locally, nationally and internationally.

To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate the motivation and capability to lead a complex and diverse group of faculties. You will be a participatory leader who shares the values of the University. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of what constitutes excellence in research, teaching and engagement. You will be an astute strategic leader, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and be experienced at inspiring and leading devolved teams around a shared vision. You will have held a leadership position in the academic or related sector, and need to understand and appreciate the academic environment.
