The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is advertising for an Ag Specialist III – Farm Operator in Ag Education and Studies (AGEDS). This position will collaborate with the Instructor-In-Charge and AGEDS 450 Farm, which is a self-sustaining farm.

This position will collaborate on all production activities associated with corn and soybean cropping enterprise and wean-to-finish contract grower swine enterprise including the operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery, as direct by the Instructor and AGEDS 450 Class.

The successful candidate will be a team player and be willing to carry out management decisions of the class with excellent organizational and communication skills. They will be able to work alone and work with a diverse team while providing the insight to notify proper management if issues arise. They will have the ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, and be a self-motivator. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 150 lbs.
