£29,514 to £35,210 per annum
Full-time: 35 Hours per week 

As part of the ongoing development of our Library Service the University is seeking to recruit a Librarian to deliver Library activities regarding the University’s research repository (PURE) and research data management. The successful individual will provide support at our Paisley Campus three days per week and our Lanarkshire Campus two days per week.

In this role you will liaise with academic staff, researchers, Library staff and professional services departments in the University in order to provide expert advice regarding PURE operational/technical matters, metadata standards, publisher copyright policies, REF open access compliance, and the use of the PURE REF 2021 module in support of the University’s REF submission.

You will hold a first degree plus a postgraduate qualification in library/information science (or a first degree in library and information science, information management, computing science or equivalent) and have recent experience of using PURE (or other current research information system) in an academic environment.
