The School of Education is seeking to appoint an inspirational Professor with an established reputation for conducting research of leading international quality in an area of Education aligning to one or more of the School research themes (Social justice and education; Educational and pedagogical effectiveness; Post compulsory and informal learning; Student wellbeing, motivation and engagement; Internationalisation and globalisation in education).

You will be expected to take a lead role in driving forward the School’s research excellence in the field. You will have excellent leadership and management skills and exceptional communication skills. You will contribute to a range of programmes including as examples; MEd, EdD and PhD. This appointment represents a strategic investment in the research community at LJMU and is aligned to the School and university strategic plan.
