Role Description

The University are seeking to appoint a member of staff to cover maternity leave, and join the Education Services team to deliver academic administration and student support. The role is based within the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing on the Cranfield campus.

You will be responsible for managing specific courses and be the key point of contact for students and staff.  Responsibilities include progress monitoring, preparing timetables and course documentation, advising and guiding on University regulations and ensuring high levels of customer support and student satisfaction.

You will play an important role managing the needs of a group of people, and balancing differing priorities. The role will include preparing evidence and documentation for decisions to be made on student academic progress, while being confident in advising on the most likely outcome.  Experience of effectively and sensitively dealing with difficult situations is essential as is being able to prioritise and delegate.

You will need to be self-motivated, methodical and highly organised, and have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Previous experience of academic administration within a Higher Education Institution would be an advantage.
