Romance Languages and Literatures

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Spanish. We seek a specialist in Greater Mexico with a broad vision of the Mexicanist field, and with additional expertise in border studies, queer studies or visual studies. The appointment is expected to begin on August 1, 2018 and will end on June 30, 2019. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching four courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.

The position is for one year.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate in Spanish literature or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications

Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is desired.
