We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join the Schools and Colleges Liaison Team.
The Schools and Colleges Liaison team are responsible for engaging with schools and colleges across the UK to provide students, parents and teachers with further information about applying to the University of Nottingham, as part of the University’s wider student recruitment strategy.
This post provides administrative support to the School and Colleges Liaison team to ensure the smooth-running of all their operations. The role holder will be responsible for supporting school and college visits, conferences for careers advisers and teachers, and wider student recruitment projects such as the annual calling campaign. They will also be responsible for administering finances for the team’s budget, supporting the student and staff ambassador schemes, and dealing with all day-to-day enquiries and communications with internal and external stakeholders
The successful candidate will have proven organisation, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills and demonstrate a commitment to collaborative and team working. Applicants should be educated to GCSE or equivalent and be able to demonstrate significant administrative experience with keen attention to detail. Excellent IT and Microsoft Office skills are essential, as is a proactive approach and ability to work independently with the minimum of supervision. Ideally, candidates will have knowledge and experience of working within Higher Education.
This post involves occasional evening and weekend work and some travel within the UK.
This full-time role is offered on a permanent contract and may be open to job share arrangements.
