We want to appoint an enthusiastic and professional part time PGR Student Administrator to deliver and develop the support for our PhD students. The role is permanent, part time (0.5 FTE), and is available to start immediately.

You will be working in our busy School Office team, who together are responsible for delivering student support for around 500 undergraduate students, 100 postgraduate taught and 100 postgraduate research students. This role has a specific focus on the administration for our postgraduate research students.

Excellent communication skills will be needed and you will have the tact and empathy to form productive working relations with a wide range of colleagues and students. You will be able to work independently and effectively under pressure, and manage varying deadlines and workloads effectively in order to develop an outstanding service to our students.

The School aims to be one of the major international centres for integrated research and teaching across the full range of geography subject areas from environmental processes, environmental systems and human sciences. Our research is consistently ranked amongst the top UK departments of its kind.
