We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work at Lindons at the University of Lincoln. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for food, the ability to deliver exemplary customer service to students and staff and love making great espresso based drinks.

This is a real hands on role for someone who wants to make a difference for customers, use their imagination to increase sales, and be involved with every part of the units operation from serving customers, cash handling to food safety.

Like all our positions you must be able to build relationships and create a great experience for our customers. You will already be working in a catering environment, ideally serving barista coffee, have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work effectively using your initiative.

The post is for 40 weeks across the year, please note working weeks are different to school term dates and will commence in February. Working hours are 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 11.00am to 3.00pm but these may flex slightly subject to the business needs. We require staff to work at least 4 open days a year and the role will in time move to working five days over seven in the future as the department moves towards delivering its 24/7 provision for students.
