Salary: £27,830 to £30,395 pa with potential to progress to £33,199 by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience.

We are looking for an Education Liaison Advisor to join our busy and dynamic Marketing team. You need to be enthusiastic, confident and full of energy and able to relate to and communicate with pupils in schools, parents, teachers and careers advisors.
Reporting to the UK Student Recruitment Manager, the Education Liaison Advisor will be responsible for independently planning and delivering UK student recruitment activities with a view to attract and encourage applications to the University. The successful candidate will be working with academics and as well as colleagues across Marketing and Communications to develop and implement activities and events that will engage prospective students, parents, school and college staff.
You will also be responsible for data gathering, analysis and report on activities and competitor research with a view to improving and maintaining the University’s position. You will be required to work flexibly, to deliver workshops, presentations and represent the University at Higher Education Fairs and Conventions, open days and other recruitment events to provide information, advice and guidance about higher education and what it is like to study at the University of Hertfordshire. Some of the events will be in the evenings and weekends and occasionally across the UK.
The successful candidate will preferably have prior educational advisory/student recruitment experience and knowledge of the UK education sector. You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to establish effective relationships with schools, colleges, colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders as well as being a good team player.
The successful candidate will be expected to live in the region and work remotely, travelling to and from events.
