The University of Bristol is looking to appoint two Staff Engagement Administrators.

Staff Engagement is a top priority for the University over the next academic year and this role will be key in supporting the team to deliver this agenda.

As a Staff Engagement Administrator, you will undertake a varied role for the Staff Engagement team. Apart from the general administration support with budgets, invoicing and dealing with queries etc, you will be an active member of the team taking on administration for a variety of engagement and development initiatives, projects and programmes.

This can range from Staff Survey, Welcome Fair, Professional Services Summer BBQ, Excellence Awards as well as a range of other social or engagement activities.

In addition to supporting existing ventures and projects, you will always be looking for ways to continuously develop our service offer. Identifying ideas for improvement and opportunities for engagement and social events, you will encourage and assist in their set-up.

You will promote our service thorough a selection of different channels to appeal to different audiences. Being a first point of contact, you will interact with a wide selection of people from across the University, developing internal and external networks. You will work with colleagues, customers and suppliers as well as supporting a variety of engagement groups and committees.

Although you will work with all members of Staff Engagement, there will be close relationship with the other SE Administrator as you provide an administration service for our team. However, each of you will have an individual focus on specific engagement activities.

If working with others on this agenda in a busy and challenging role is something that interests you, and you have the skills to help us deliver this, then we would love to hear from you.

These posts are part-time, one is 21 hours per week and the other is 17.5 hours per week. We are also willing to offer this position as full-time. Please state on your application form (at the top of the supporting statement) if you have a preference.

For more information or to discuss your application on an informal basis, please contact Claire Kinsley, Staff Engagement Manager - claire.kinsley@bristol.ac.uk or Katie Baynton-Glen, Staff Engagement Adviser - katie.baynton-glen@bristol.ac.uk

The deadline for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 3rd February 2019.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world’s leading universities.
