The School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences deliver a broad spectrum of courses in the fields of agricultural science, environmental science, exercise and sports science, health science, medical imaging, medical science, medical sonography and paramedic science.

Your new role:

  • Preparing and delivering lectures and seminars, and conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, student field excursions, clinical/studio sessions, workshops, and/or residential schools in the area of Paediatric Physiotherapy.
  • Acting as a unit coordinator through the regular initiation and development of unit material with appropriate advice from and support of more senior staff.

You will bring to the position:

  • Clinical, teaching and/or research experience in the area of Paediatric Physiotherapy.
  • The ability to create a learning environment that encourages regular open dialogue and flow of ideas.
  • A passion for achieving practical results and performing work that results in concrete outputs or outcomes.

You will have:

  • A relevant graduate and/or postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in the Physiotherapy discipline. Completion of (or working towards) a Masters or PhD will be considered highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development through multi-modal delivery strategies.
  • Proven ability to contribute to curriculum development, writing and evaluation, particularly using flexible modes of delivery.
  • Demonstrated capacity to engage and network effectively with industry and community partners and stakeholders.
