An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to join the QMC-Sutton Bonington Student Services team. The QMC-Sutton Bonington team is the largest delivery team in Student Services, with over 100 administrative staff providing support to:
- four academic schools (Vets, Biosciences, Medicine and Health Sciences); and
- four Student Service Centres (City Hospital, Derby Hospital, QMC and Sutton Bonington).

The role holder will be directly responsible for the leadership and management of the team and Student Service Centre based at Sutton Bonington Campus, a lead liaison point with one or more academic schools, as well as providing leadership and management of one or more administrative processes which make up the student journey across the whole of the QMC-Sutton Bonington team (e.g. Programme Administration, Assessments, PGR, Placements). Over the coming months, with the recent implementation of a new student records system, the role holder will also be actively involved in leading teams as they work through this period of change. 

Applications are welcomed from candidates who have an extensive, proven track record of managing and developing a large, diverse team in an educational setting, preferably in the Higher Education sector. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have experience of leading a team through change, and have considerable knowledge of one or more administrative processes within student journey. Experience of managing staff resources to deliver operational requirements and service excellence is a must.

As the QMC-Sutton Bonington team is spread across multiple locations, the role holder would be expected to have a flexible approach to location and work at the different sites as the role dictates, but predominately they will be based between Sutton Bonington and QMC campuses.

This is a full time fixed term opportunity until 31 December 2020. Job share arrangements may be considered
