Coventry is a dynamic university that provides high quality education to our students, reinforced by the fact that we were awarded Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (2017) and have been named as University of the Year for Student Experience (2018).
We continue to invest in our staff, students and facilities as part of our goal to become one of the UK's leading universities. Our ethos is one of support, trust integrity and respect while valuing diversity.
Key to this ambitious goal is our investment in the development of our staff and courses through our Teaching Excellence Initiative. An exciting new part of this initiative is the Curriculum 2025 Project. Curriculum 2025 is a course enhancement team of 26 people to work alongside academic course teams to refresh the CU offering to our students to ensure it is modern, robust, innovative, flexible and inclusive.
Curriculum 2025 will consist a team of Course Writers,Strategy and Planning Analysts, an ITS lead, Registry Change leads, Academic Development leads, Student Experience change leads and Faculty Curriculum leads. The team will have a responsibility to develop a curriculum framework that brings a consistent tone and structure to all courses. It will be created so as to assure academic freedom in content but clarity for both internal and external audiences.
