Applications are invited for a Post-Doc position available in the group of Prof Casiraghi, School of Chemistry, University of Manchester. The project will mainly focus on the printing of inks based on 2D materials that can be used for biomedical applications. The project is funded by the EPSRC in the framework of the project 2D-Health (http://2d-health.com/). The project includes collaborations with other groups in Manchester and companies.

This post is available to be filled starting from Feb 2019 for two years. Applicants should have a PhD (by the start date) in Chemistry, Material Science, or related subjects.

Significant experience on 2D-materials based inks, inkjet printing and similar deposition techniques, and characterization of coating made of those inks is strongly needed. The candidate should also be well-organised and self-motivated with excellent oral and communication skills. A strong publication record in internationally peer-reviewed journals is required.
