We are seeking to appoint a 0.6 FTE (3 days a week) Mental Health Adviser to work within the Mental Health Advisory Service which sits within the Student Counselling Service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service (Nov 2017), working across the university to support students with complex/diagnosed or emerging severe and enduring mental health difficulties. Helping students to identify their strengths, manage their needs and develop their resilience.

You will be an experienced and qualified practitioner in the field of mental health (mental health nurse/social worker/occupational therapist) with a good understanding of the needs of university students, and with excellent liaison skills.
