The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music seeks to appoint an innovative and committed Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Music (Performance - Cello). The incumbent will teach one-to-one lessons with Cello students, attract high quality students into the Bachelor of Music and Graduate programs and develop and further strengthen the chamber music and ensemble performance program at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. The appointee will be recognised as an outstanding practitioner and teacher, have a national and international performance profile and be able to make a significant contribution to the music performance area.

You will have a doctoral qualification in a relevant area, an outstanding profile in the field of music performance, high level expertise in string teaching practices and demonstrated experience teaching at a University level.

This is a full time, continuing position commencing mid 2019 or as negotiated.
