Getting there

From the airports to the city centre

Please note that delegates are responsible for their travel arrangements and travel costs to and from Moscow. Transport details between Moscow’s three airports (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo) and Moscow’s city centre are outlined below.

By train
The Aeroexpress train runs every half hour from 5am to 12:30am, and is the fastest and cheapest way to get to Moscow from the airports – 500 roubles one way (£6.20) or 850 roubles for a round trip (£10.55). The Aeroexpress platforms are located at the airports, follow the signs or ask airport staff how to get to the platform.
Ticket terminals accept credit cards and are near the entrance to the platform. You can also purchase tickets in advance on the Aeroexpress website. Travel times are 35-45 minutes, depending on which airport you are travelling from.
Trains terminate at Belorussky Railway Station (if traveling from Sheremetyevo), Paveletsky Railway Station (from Domodedovo) and Kievsky Railway Station (from Vnukovo). These three stations are each situated on the Circle line of the Moscow Metro, allowing for quick transfers if you plan to continue your trip via Metro.

By taxi
The easiest way to arrange a taxi is to use the official taxi kiosk in the airport arrival hall, however it is usually more cost-effective to use a mobile taxi app, which you can download to your smartphone or tablet. The two main applications are Yandex.Taxi, Uber and Gett, and a trip from the airports will cost 1,200-2,000 roubles (£15-25).
