Getting to the Pan Pacific Hotel


From Tianjin Binhai International Airport

By metro: Take metro line 2 (yellow) from the airport to Dongnanjiao stop (东南角站), the journey will take about 30 minutes. Then you can either take a 10-minute taxi ride (~¥10, £1.10) or walk (north along Dongma Road, 20 minutes) to the hotel.

By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel should cost about ¥70 (£7.60) and take 35 minutes.

 

From railway stations

Tianjin Railway Station: A taxi from Tianjin Railway Station to the Pan Pacific Hotel will cost about ¥15 (£1.60) and take 10-15 minutes.

Tianjin West Railway Station: A taxi from Tianjin West Railway Station to the Pan Pacific Hotel will cost about ¥15 (£1.60) and take 10-15 minutes.

Tianjin South Railway Station: A taxi from Tianjin South Railway Station to the Pan Pacific Hotel will cost about ¥80 (£8.70) and take 45 minutes.

Getting around Tianjin


Delegates are recommended to use taxis and the metro to get around the city.

Metro tickets are priced according to the distance you travel, with an average price of ¥2-9 (20p-£1). Tickets can be bought using the following methods:

  • By cash: You can pay by cash at the service counter in any metro station before going through the ticket checkpoint.
  • By travelcard: You can buy a travelcard at the service counter at any metro station, and these can be used on all public transport in Tianjin.
  • By scanning a QR code: You can download the Tianjin Ditie app and link a payment method of your choice to the app. Scan the QR code at the ticket checkpoint when you enter and exit the station.
