Over the past 40 years, since reform and opening up of the country, the rapid growth of China’s economy and society has brought new opportunities and challenges for its higher education institutions. The summit, with the theme “building knowledge, transforming skills”, will provide constructive expertise and intellectual support to aid progression in higher education.
All invitees, who are the leaders of prestigious universities and institutions, will contribute their visionary and insightful wisdom on how to attain teaching excellence and improve innovation in higher education. They will join forces to tailor strategies and initiatives to build world-class universities, explore potential incentives that drive the creation of world-class universities, outline future opportunities to achieve world-class university status, as well as find feasible solutions for combating threats and challenges that undermine world-class university foundations.
Nankai University, as one of the top universities in China, has launched its going-global plans and made advancements in teaching, educating students and serving society.
