General

Times Higher Education is partnering with the prestigious Southern University of Science and Technology for the Innovation and Impact Summit 2021. During this three-day summit we will examine the critical factors for supporting research impact and ask; who should ultimately benefit from world-class research and innovation? Can innovation be directed towards creating resilience? And, in the pursuit of excellence, how can academia, government and industry align to ensure the knowledge economy supports all facets of society?

For the majority of the summit, the dress code is business professional and business casual.
For the gala dinner, cocktail attire is recommended.

China has implemented Visa on Arrival and Visa-free Transit policies, however policy restrictions in Shenzhen are subject to change and may vary on a case by case basis. Therefore, we strongly advise delegates to apply for a visa via their local Chinese embassy/consulate in advance of  travel to Shenzhen.

Times Higher Education  and SUSTech can provide letters of invitation for registered delegates when requested on your registration form. Please note the application process may take anywhere from two weeks to two months to process.

Registration and tickets

Both delegate and corporate tickets include access to all sessions, gala dinner, receptions and networking lunches. Your ticket does not cover the cost of flights or accommodation.

Please register online. Please note credit card or PayPal is the preferred method of payment. If you wish to pay via BACS please email summits@timeshighereducation.com​ prior to registration.

There is no need to print your ticket, you will be given a name badge when you arrive at the venue.

If registration is cancelled 30 days or more prior to the first day of the event, the participant will be liable for 50 per cent of the registration fee. If registration is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the start of the event, the participant is liable for 100 per cent of the registration fee. You can find your invoice in your ticket confirmation email. You would have received this after your purchase.

We don’t offer one-day or two-day tickets. All tickets are valid for the full duration of the summit.

No, each ticket is valid to be used by one person only for the duration of the summit.

Replacement names are allowed up to seven days before the start of the summit. Please note that all registrations are subject to THE  approval. Please contact summits@timeshighereducation.com if you wish to change the name on your ticket.

For group bookings of three or more, a discount will be applied at registration.
