Just as surely as deluged bank holidays, crisis at Manchester City and worries about sterling, comes the examination season, and with it the annual THES howler competition. Entries in the competition to emulate David Finkelstein of Napier University, who won last year's bottle of Chateau Antithesis by reporting one of his examinees' above new insight into the lives of the great, should be sent to The THES by Friday June 26.
