Building alliances, broadening inclusion towards excellence

17-18 June 2019, Lima, Peru

What is the THE  Latin America Forum?

We are conveying higher education leaders in Lima to the 2019 THE  Latin America Forum to learn and debate the best initiatives and newest ideas on how to achieve academic excellence in the region.

The forum will demonstrate how international collaboration within the region is bringing forward alliances for a better research environment, how a new research framework for the arts and its transformative power can play a central role in Latin America over the next years. It will also inform about the progress made in the region in terms of inclusion and diversity, widening higher education access and improving results towards excellence.

The forum’s closing event will see the live launch of the 2019 Latin America ranking, which will examine the latest data, analyse the most recent trends and, through THE methodology, explain the current state of higher education in Latin America.

The forum will debate new approaches, hear from the best case studies and real experiences. Higher education leaders will discuss how a region such as Latin America should face challenges and embrace new strategies and ideas to develop the great potential – academic and personal – that the region undoubtedly has.
