Getting there

Amity University is in the city of Noida, which is part of Delhi NCR. The university can be easily reached by metro train or taxi (Uber, Ola, Meru Mega Cabs) from the airport, railway station and interstate bus terminus.

Taxis such as Uber, Ola and Meru Mega Cabs can be booked through mobile apps only. Payment can be made by cash, app wallet (Paytm, Ola Money) or credit/debit card. Taxis are available 24 hours a day.

Metro train: Metro train services are available between 06.00 and 23.30. Tokens for one-way journeys or tourist cards are available:
– One-day card: INR200 (£2.20) (INR150 + 50 refundable security)
– Three-day card: INR500 (£5.40) (INR450 + 50 refundable security)

Taxi/autorickshaw: It is advisable to book a taxi/autorickshaw from the pre-paid booth counters located at the airport and railway station. It is absolutely not safe for foreign nationals to stop and ride any autorickshaw or taxi randomly.

City bus service (Delhi Transport Corporation): These buses connect the airport, railway stations and all major hubs of the city. Prior knowledge of route numbers is necessary. Buses usually run from 5am to midnight, with night service buses on selected routes. Passes can be purchased from any bus service and are valid until midnight of the same day.
