US Student Survey Distribution 2018

In 2016, Times Higher Education conducted one of the largest student surveys ever undertaken in the United States – a survey that formed a key part of the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings.

This year, for the 2018 Times Higher Education US Student Survey, we are offering universities and colleges the unmissable opportunity to directly participate in the survey when it launches in March.

Impact of the Student Survey

Over the past two years, more than 200,000 students have responded to the survey, putting a student voice at the heart of the WSJ/THE College Rankings, which aims to answer the questions that matter the most to would-be students and their families. This exercise has been widely praised for its emphasis on teaching and student outcomes and is one of the most viewed features on the Wall Street Journal website.

How you can participate

The survey is conducted on our behalf by the independent research company Streetbees. Streetbees directly solicits student responses for more than 1,000 US institutions, and we would like to offer you the opportunity to increase participation by distributing the survey. More responses afford deeper analysis. We invite you to participate directly in the survey by emailing the survey to all or a sample of your student body, and/or by promoting the survey on your university website.

The survey will be in the field from mid-march to 25th May 2018 and we would very much welcome your participation.

In support of this we need to understand the distribution of the survey. Please return a signed copy of the US student survey distribution confirmation form to USrankings@timeshighereducation.com.
