Thank you for your interest in distributing the 2020 Europe student survey.
Achieving a suitable sample for the Student Survey is an entry requirement for the ranking. Therefore, we urge you to help us by distributing the Survey to your students. This greatly increases the number of survey responses, helping to ensure your college’s eligibility for inclusion. We recommend distributing to 1000+ students, as we typically see response rates around 5-7%.
We are extending the survey collection period this year, from October 2019 through to 28 February 2020. This should allow your institution to plan distribution to your students around other surveys and events in their academic calendars.
How to take part
Significant changes to Facebook targeting has meant that StreetBees cannot guarantee they will be able to collect complete survey samples. Further, they are not able to collect in countires outside of Germany, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, France, Italy, the UK and the Netherlands, and cannot collect responses for universities with fewer than 5,000 undergrads (or ISCED-6 equivalent as in ETER).
As such, self-distribution of the survey by colleges is key to whether they can be included in the Europe Teaching Ranking 2020.
Sign up in 3 easy steps:
1. Download and complete the distribution confirmation form below, nominating a primary contact and agreeing to our sampling criteria. Once completed, email it to us at email@example.com.
2. Once received, we will send you an email, including an email template and a URL for the survey (for email campaigns only). We will also send you a different URL to be used for any posts on your university website / social media.
3. Distribute this template to your students with the correct URLs included. You are free to send this at any time throughout the survey period, to align with your academic calendar (to reduce conflict with exam periods or other surveys in the field). All response collection and handling is handled on our end, so no further action should be required. The only exception to this is if you do not achieve the minimum number of responses as we approach the end of the survey period, we may contact you to send out reminder emails to your students (or post the URL again to encourage more responses).
Target your students via social media
If you are unable to email your students directly, simply post a notification on your website, LinkedIn or Facebook page, using the social media link included in our email. Please remember to complete the consent form first, to receive the URL you will need.
If you have any questions, or would like more information, please refer to the FAQ page below, or contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
