Over the course of three years, you examine a wide range of sociological issues, from the micro to the macro level. Modules range from health inequalities and diversity to religion, social policy, terrorism, and migration. They include global issues as well as domestic concerns. The programme is ideal if you have an inquiring mind, value the freedom to think and want to develop and enrich your sociological imagination. Studying sociology involves continuous interplay between matters of concern in society and concepts and theories of society. Throughout the degree there is an emphasis on the practical application of skills, and you are taught by engaging experts who are active researchers and passionate about their subjects.
