A key strength of the BA (Hons) Criminology, Policing and Forensics course at the University of West London is our work-based learning modules. Typically, you will work in areas such as youth offending, victim support, crime prevention, witness support and various policing support roles including as a special constable. These provide an invaluable opportunity for you to gain experience in a crime related field, and enhance your chances of finding relevant employment after graduation. The Guardian University Guide 2012 ranked us as the top modern London-based law school. On this course, you will gain an insight into criminal behaviour and the investigation of crime scenes. You will also have the opportunity to undertake voluntary work within the criminal justice system and allied fields to support your academic studies.
