If you’re focused on a career in aerospace then a course with a year in industry is worth considering. As well as gaining vital experience and making contacts, you will be paid a salary during your year out. The course also includes a group project where you help design, build and fly an unmanned aerial vehicle. Academics in this department work closely with Boeing, Airbus UK, BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce.
