English and Hispanic Studies - University of Nottingham

This course combines the study of English language and literature with Spanish and Portuguese language, culture, and history. Modules from the School of English will cover English language; literature, medieval studies, and drama, with flexibility to choose form a diverse range of optional modules. If you have studied Spanish at A-level, you will continue your Spanish studies alongside beginners Portuguese, which is optional to continue after your first year. This course is also open to students with no A-level language qualification, who may follow an intensive Spanish course from beginners’ through to degree level by the end of the course. You will spend the third year of this degree studying or working in a Spanish or Portuguese speaking country.
