Marketing is a core business function concerned with the promotion and communication of a brand, product or service. Marketing influences all aspects of a business, including sales and customer service, through to building customer loyalty and brand advocacy. The discipline of marketing is diverse and allows you to build a lucrative career in a number of sectors. Requiring a great deal of creativity, strategic thinking and attention to detail, marketing also demands professional, organisational and communication skills. This degree allows you to study the main marketing disciplines, enabling you to determine which aspects of the profession best suit your skills and personality. Graduates from this course have built successful careers in different parts of the industry, such as advertising, brand management, media planning and buying, public relations, event management and product testing. We also offer four year routes where you can spend your third year on industrial placement or studying abroad.
