Drama, Theatre and Performance - Lancaster University

Our flexible modules examine contemporary drama, dance, theatre and performance from a practical and theoretical perspective, allowing you to develop your preferred creative focus. Our team of experts includes world-leading research specialists, contemporary theatre practitioners and an Ibsen award-winner. They will help you to build your professional network and enjoy the strong sense of community here at LICA. The first year introduces theoretical and practical tools and a variety of genres, media and historical periods, ranging from Shakespeare to post dramatic theatre. In Years 2 and 3 you can focus solely on Theatre or you can include options from other disciplines in LICA including Art, Design and Film, or LICA’s vocational Placement and Enterprise modules, enabling you to expand your network of contacts, influences and experience.
