It offers a strong base in technical, management and personal skills, highly-sought-after simulation skills and an understanding of business and project management. Alongside general mechanical engineering, specialist subjects include applied mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electronics, control and computing. MEng and BEng students take the same modules until Year 3. The MEng contains an extra year of study in which you can deepen your knowledge in areas such as computer-aided design and mathematics.
