This is the 4 year course which includes a Professional Placement Year. Our specialist BSc (Hons) Biology in Conservation Biology pathway enables you to develop your skills in a contemporary and practical degree. Biology has a strong practical element and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to study plants and animals in the wild as well as in our laboratories. The placement occurs between the students' second and third years of undergraduate study. Students can engage in up to 3 placements to make up the total time and are required to source the placement(s) themselves with support from the Careers & Employability Team.
