View the overall results of the 2018 Student Experience Survey

Many students heading off to university want to be sure that their institution has good connections with industry. Opportunities to secure work placements, and to learn from the expertise of practising professionals in the “real world”, can be invaluable additions to the academic side of a student’s time in higher education.

As part of the 2018 Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey, more than 20,000 students were asked the extent to which they agreed that their university had good industry connections.
