Large area steady state solar simulator - JRC calls for tenders

The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a call for tenders for a technical design study for the planning realisation of the construction of a large area steady state solar simulator, and for the upgrading of the existing large area simulator.

The contract relates to the conception and definition of design concepts for the realisation of the simulator and for the upgrading of the existing large area simulator. The contractor must present design concepts, cost calculations and technical specifications so as to allow the contracting authority to select the most appropriate design.

Realisation of final technical designs, identification of potential suppliers, construction companies and associated costs for the realisation of said design are also involved.
