Brussels, 09 May 2005
The European Commission is organising an information day for potential participants in the 'collaborative working environments' strategic objective of the information society technologies (IST) programme, to be held in Brussels on 2 June.
The collaborative working environments objective is covered in the fifth IST call for proposals of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), to be launched on 17 May. The information day will present this strategic objective and offer interested parties the chance to present proposal ideas within a 'proposers' forum'.
The purpose of this strategic objective is to develop the next generation of collaborative working environments, thereby increasing creativity and boosting innovation and productivity. The pre-allocated budget for the call is 40 million euro.
